This shows the trial assembly of the drag conveyor outside a works in East Goscote, Leicestershire. The conveyor was designed so that hot waste dust would be collected in the settlement tank on the right (red). The waste dust cools and settles to the bottom of the tank. The waste sludge is then dragged up the incline and into a skip or similar hazwaste disposal unit. The entire conveyor was designed in sections to fit inside a 40 foot container.
